Sommerliche Karte / Summer card

Hallo, ihr Lieben, ich bin's gleich noch einmal. Hier habe ich Papier mit Distress Inks eingefärbt und mit orangefarbenem StazOn bestempelt. Danach hab ich das Papier mit dem Weichmacher von LaBlanche "gefügig"gemacht, geknittert und wieder geglättet. Darüber kam mit braunem StazOn das Pflanzenmotiv.

Hi there, that's me once again. Here I have a card that I inked with Distress Ink and stamped with orange StazOn. After this I used a paper softener by LaBlanche. I creased and crinkled the paper and  then flattened it. Then I stamped the plant image with brown StazOn.

Little Traveller - Karte für einen Jungen / Card for a boy

Hallo, ihr Lieben. Ich zeig euch heute mal das Set, das der Sohn meiner Nichte zum Geburtstag bekam. Da das kurz vor seiner ersten Flugreise war, hab ich ein passendes Motiv gewählt, den kleinen Traveller - coloriert mit Polychromos. Zur Karte hab ich noch ein Minikärtchen mit Geldfach gemacht. Die Anhänger kamen ans Geschenk.

Hi there, I'm gonna show you the set that my niece's son got for his birthday. It was just before his first journey by air. That's why I chose the 'Little Traveller' image by Papirgleder. It's coloured with Polychromos by Faber. Also I made a small pocket for some money and two tags for the present.

Geburtstagskarte mit Schmetterlingen / Birthday Card with Butterflies

Hallo, ihr Lieben! Habe wieder was für euch. Dieses Kärtchen bekam eine meiner Kolleginnen. Schön naturfarben und dezent. Ein Streifen vom Hintergrund ist geprägt, einer bestempelt. Die Schmetterlinge sind gestempelt und klar embosst. Ich habe den Text gestempelt, ausgestanzt und noch in der Stanzform gewischt - das ergibt automatisch einen hellen Rahmen. Und übrigens ... die Spitze ist nicht gelb. Dass die Farben beim Knipsen immer so verfälschen, regt mich auf.

Hi everyone! This card was for one of my colleagues. I love the natural and quiet colours. One stripe paper in the background was stamped and one was embossed. The butterflies were stamped and heat embossed. My favourite embellishments are brads and ribbons (lace too) because you can always choose the matching colour. If you don't have it so you use a neutral colour.

Hallo, ihr Lieben, ich hoffe, ihr seid bei der Hitze nicht schon zerflossen ... Ich hab hier mal eine gute Idee, um das Elend zu minimieren. Schnappt euch ein Gläschen Wein und genießt! :-D
Diese Karte war eigentlich für die Vorratskiste. Dann kam mein Bruder, brauchte eine Karte, schnell die passende Altersangabe ergänzt und weg war er mit Karte.

Geburtstagskarte für einen Jungen / Birthday card for a boy

Ich habe gerade eine Geburtstagskarte für einen Jungen aus meiner Klasse fertig gestellt. Er hat morgen seinen großen Tag, ich muss also gleich noch losdüsen und seinen Briefkasten füllen. Habe mich dieses Mal nach einer Vorlage von Sketch Saturday gerichtet, aber das Layout einmal gedreht. Das Motiv ist braun gestempelt und klar embosst.

 I just finished a card for one of my pupils who turns to 9 tomorrow. I have to shoot off even today to fill his postbox. For this card I used a sketch by Sketch Saturday, but rotated it. The image is stamped with brown and then heat embossed clearly. Flowers and brads are my favourite embellishments, because the complete a card perfectly and you can choose the colour that fits to the design.

Für diese Babykarte habe ich die Schuhe und den Namen gestempelt und klar embosst. Das Papier, der Text und die Teddys sind aus einem LaBlanche-Set.
For this babycard I stamped the name of the baby and the shoes. The paper, sentiment and teddies are from a set by LaBlanche. Flowers and brads are my favourite embellishments, because the complete a card perfectly and you can choose the colour that fits to the design.

3 Blumenkarten / 3 Flower Cards

Hallo, allerseits! Hier sind drei sommerliche Blumenkarten zu sehen. Vom Motiv und Layout her gleich, nur die Gestaltung unterscheidet sich etwas. Bei der linken Karte habe ich Glimmermist gesprüht und das Motiv mit StazOn gestempelt. Die mittlere Karte wurde ebenfalls mit Glimmermist gesprüht, dann mit Papierweichmacher von LaBlanche eingesprüht und zerknittert, darauf den HG-Text und das Motiv mit StazOn gestempelt. Die rechte Karte bekam einen Hauch von Distress Ink, dann wurde der HG-Text gestempelt und das Motiv darüber mit Archival Ink.
Hi everyone! Here are three summery cards with the same layout and image, only the design is different. The first card has a glimmermisted background and stamped image. Same way for the second card, but I used a paper softener and stamped a background script and the image. For the third card I sponged the paper with Distress Ink and stamped the background script and the image as well.

Sommerliche Schmetterlingskarte / Summery butterfly card

Ich grüße euch alle ganz lieb! Hier zeige ich euch eine Sommerkarte. Die Farben passen doch gerade perfekt zur Hitzeperiode, oder? Die Papiere sind aus einem 6inch-Block von Kaisercraft, auch der Bogen mit den Schmetterlingen und dem Label. Die Federn geben wiederum etwas Leichtigkeit.
Hi there! Here I'm gonna show you a summer card. The colours fit perfectly to the current heat wave. The papers are from a paper pad by Kaisercraft, also the paper with the butterflies and the labels. I love to use some feathers because they give a little bit of levity or lightness.

Karte für einen Segler / Card for a sailor

Einer unserer Freunde fährt gern zum Segeln. Daher versuche ich natürlich immer, ihm eine eine maritim angehauchte Karte zu gestalten. Das Motiv ist braun gestempelt und noch klar heißgeprägt. da gibt Intensität und einen schönen Glanz. Eine Herausforderung waren die Seemannsknoten. Da musste ich ganz schön fummeln. Aber er ist einer, der sich wirklich darüber freut!
One of our friends loves to sail and he goes to the seaside during his vacation every year. That's why I used to make him a maritime card. The image ist stamped with brown ink and then heat embossed with brown ink. That makes the image more intense and glossy. It was a challenge to me to make the sailor's knots. What a fiddling. And he liked the card very much - as always.

Karte zur Goldenen Hochzeit / Card for a Golden Wedding Anniversary

Hallo, ihr Lieben, hier zeige ich euch eine Auftragskarte für ein Paar zur Goldenen Hochzeit. Ich sollte das Foto verarbeiten, das die Insel Tonga im Südpazifik zeigt - Traumziel der Goldpaares. Ich habe den Hintergrund mit dem Namen der Insel bestempelt. Für's festliche Design sorgen die Elemente aus gestanztem goldenen Spiegelkarton. Das Flugzeug ist ein Sticker, den ich auf das HG-Papier geklebt und ausgeschnitten habe. Und wie ich erfahren habe, hat dem Goldpaar die Karte riesig gefallen.
Hi everyone, this is a commissioned work, a card for a couple's Golden Wedding Anniversary. Their dream destination is the isand Tonga in South Pacific. I should use this picture.  I stamped the name of the island on the background paper and added a few festive items that I punched from golden mirror paper. The aircraft is a sticker that I sticked at the blue paper and cut out. And as I heard the couple loved my card!

Zurück aus dem Urlaub

Hallo, ihr Lieben, melde mich aus dem Urlaub zurück. War mit meinem Mann auf Rundreise in Israel und hinterher noch paar Tage am Toten Meer. Was für Eindrücke!!! Wir haben vermutlich alle geschichtlich und biblisch relevanten Stätten gesehen, die dort jemals ausgegraben oder errichtet wurden.:-)  Mussten täglich um 6 aufstehen und sind gegen 17/18 Uhr im Hotel gelandet. Obwohl wir beide nicht christlich sind, waren wir doch sehr ergriffen ob der Tatsache, was sich dort vor Jahrtausenden und Jahrhunderten alles ereignet hat. An die vielen bewaffneten Sicherheitsleute musste man sich eben gewöhnen, die waren allgegenwärtig. Aber ansonsten: Absolut empfehlenswert!

Mädchenkarte / Girly card

Hallo, allerseits, hier zeig ich euch mal eine Staffelei-Karte für eines meiner Mädchen. Sie ist auch so eine Blonde wie auf dem Motiv zu sehen ist. Von daher passte das perfekt. Coloriert habe ich mit Polychromos. Irgendwie kommt die Hosenfarbe nach dem Knipsen seltsam verfälscht rüber ... Wie schade.
Hi there, this is a card for one of my pupils. She is actually as fair as the girl at the image. Such being the case, it fits perfectly. I coloured it with Polychromos by Faber. After photographing the colour of the trousers seems to be distorted or bastard. That's a pity.

Hallo, schönen Gruß euch allen! Hier ist eine Karte, die ich meiner Nichte zur Jugendweihe geschenkt habe - gleich mit Geschenkbox und Geldfach innen. Das Motiv ist schwarz embosst, der Text ausgedruckt und dazu kommt einiges Gestanztes. Sieht doch recht schick aus, ne?

Zarte Karte / Gentle card

Dieses Kärtchen bekam meine Nichte. Ich habe im Hintergrund Kleckse gestempelt und Frantage-Embossingpulver geschmolzen. Darauf liegt ein Zierdeckchen, gestanzte Kreise und das gestempelte und embosste Hauptmotiv. Die Buchstaben sind ebenfalls gestanzt. Sieht insgesamt unauffällig aus, war aber viel Arbeit. Ich hoffe, euch gefällt's.
This card I sended to my niece. I stamped splatters in the background and heat-embossed the Frantage embossing powder. The next layers are a doily and die-cut circles. The main image ist stamped and embossed. The letters are die-cut too. It's a unobtrusive look, but it was a lot of work. So I hope you like it.

Hallo, ich grüße euch! Diese Staffelei-Karte bekam ein kleiner Fußballer zum 8. Geburtstag. Hier wurden nur Stanzteile und Sticker verarbeitet sowie goldene Sternchen-Brads und eine dicke Schleife.

Vintage Männerkarte / Vintage Male Card

Dieses Kärtchen ist ein schnelles, das beim Ausprobieren von neuen Farben entstand. Ich hatte mir vor einer Weile mal zwei StazOn-Sets bei HSE gekauft. Die Kissen sind etwas kleiner als die uns bekannten ... und auch mal in anderen Farben. Aber gute Qualität - empfehlenswert. Auf dieser Karte habe ich viel Glimmermist versprüht und einfach das Motiv und den Text darüber gestempelt. Das Papier ist cremeweiß, die erste Lage ist ein sattes Dunkelgrün. Passt doch ganz gut, oder? Schöne Woche euch allen!!!
This card is a fast one that I created while trying out my new StazOn pads. I sprayed a few various Glimmermists and stamped the image and the sentiment.The cardstock is creme-white and the first layer is a rich dark green. It fits perfectly, doesn't it? Have nice week you all!
