Karte zur Jugendweihe / Card for a youth dedication

 

Hallo, ihr Lieben! Ich möchte euch eine Jugendweihekarte für einen Jungen zeigen. Ich hab versucht, sie so "cool" wie möglich zu halten - ist ja ein schwieriges Alter. Die unterste Lage ist selbsthaftender Kork, dann kommt eine Lage dunkelgrauer Cardstock. Die hellblaue Lage ist gestempelt mit Mauerwerk, Rissen und Spritzern. Der Glüchwunsch ist metallisch embosst, ebenso die Sterne, die ich ausgeschnitten und aufgesetzt habe. Der Name, der Hashtag, die Ecken und weitere Sterne sind ausgestanzt und aufgeklebt. Und passend dazu hab ich diese Kissenbox gemacht. Ja, war viel Arbeit.
Hi there, I created a card for a boy's youth dedication. That's the state equivalent to the christian confirmation. I tried to keep it as cool as possible - it's just a difficult age. The lowest layer is selfadhesive cork, the next layer is a dark gray cardstock. The light blue cardstock was stamped with a brick wall, cracks and paint-splatters. I heat embossed the sentiment with metalic powder as well as the stars, that I cut out and glued onto paper. The corners, name, hashtag and a few other stars were die-cut and affixed. 
And I like to create each kind of boxes because you always have to wrap some goodies or money. So I made those matching pillow box.
