Noch eine Schuleintrittskarte, dieses Mal für die kleine Annabell. Ich wusste leider nicht, ob man den Namen mit einem oder zwei L schreibt, deshalb habe ich ihn lieber weggelassen.
Die kleine Sarah Kay habe ich wieder mit Polychromos coloriert und zweilagig aufgesetzt.

Once again a card for the first school day, this time for a little girl named Annabell.
I´ve stamped and coloured the Sarah Kay image twice and stick it together onto the card for a dimensional effect.

Karte zum Schuleintritt / First school day

Eine Chrisbear-Karte zum Schuleintritt des kleinen Franz. Das Motiv habe ich mit Polychromos coloriert und dreidimensional übereinander gesetzt. Die unterste Lage habe ich nur am Rand coloriert.

This is a card for a little boys first school day. My tip for Tip Top Tuesday: For a special effect I´ve stamped the image several times and coloured it with Polychromos by Faber. Then I sticked it together dimensional. I´ve coloured all layers, but the lowermost only at the edges.

Geschenkverpackung / Gift box

In diesen Umschlag passt die Karte sowie ein Gutschein für ein Musical, ist also etwa einen halben cm dick. Ich habe 2 Magnete als Verschluss jeweils zwischen das weiße und goldene Papier gesetzt.
This is a thick envelope for a card and a voucher for a musical. It´s 5 millimetres thick. I´ve used two magnets for the closure.

Schuleintritt / First school day

Eine Auftragsarbeit zum Schuleingang.
Der Hintergrund ist mit Zahlen (Artemio) bestempelt. Das Motiv ist ein 3D-Bär. Die weißen Buchstaben sind mit einer Stanzform (Sizzix) erstellt.

This is a commissioned work for the first school day.
I have stamped lots of numbers (Artemio) in the background. The white letters are made with an alphabet die (Sizzix). The bear is a dimensional image.

Einladungen / Invitation cards

Hier eine Serie von Einladungskarte. Dies war eine Auftragsarbeit.
Die kleine Süße sitzt in ihrem orangenen Kleidchen mitten im Grünen in einem Strohhaufen. Entsprechend habe ich die Karte farblich gestaltet.
Die Schmetterlinge und Ornamente sind von SU, alles gestempelt mit einem Stampin´Pad in Kürbisgelb (SU) und farblos embosst. Alle Schmetterlinge sind ausgeschnitten und mit 3D-Pads aufgesetzt.

This is a invitation card series I created as a commisioned work.
The little cutie is sitting in her orange dress amidst the greenery in the middle of a stack straw. I accordingly created the card in these colours.
The images are from SU, were stamped with Stampin´Pad Pumpkin Pie and heat embossed it with clear powder. I cut out all butterflies and sticked it on dimensional.

Männer-Geburtstagskarte / Male Birthday Card

Hier wieder eine Geburtstagskarte. Ich denke, sowohl farblich als auch von den Metallteilchen her passt sie eher zu einem Mann, oder? :-)
Das weiße Papier habe ich mit einem Holzmotiv von Flamingo-Art bestempelt. Das grüne Papier ist von DCWV, die Metallteile von Tim Holtz, die Blumen von Prima.

This is a birthday card again. In my opinion it´s a male card just because of the colours and the embellishments, isn´t it? I´ve stamped a wooden image (by Flamingo Art) onto white cardstock. The embellishments are from Tim Holtz, the flowers from Prima, the green paper from DCWV.

Geburtstagskarte Junge / Birthday card boy

So, melde mich zurück aus dem Italien-Urlaub. Ein paar Tage brauchte ich, um die kreative Ader wiederzufinden.
Nun habe ich aber eine lange Liste mit Kartenwünschen abzuarbeiten, sodass ich mich wohl oder übel wieder durch die Papiere und Farben wühlen musste.
Dies hier ist eine Karte zum Kindergeburtstag mit einem Chrisbär-Motiv, coloriert mit Polychromos und Terpentinersatz. Farblich habe ich mich an der Aufgabe von Tip Top Tuesday orientiert. Das Papier von Basic Grey habe ich oben mit Punkten (Motiv von Prima) und unten mit diversen Kreisen (See d´s) bestempelt. Ich glaube, das Set habe ich schon 3 Jahre nicht mehr benutzt...

Hi there, I´m back from my jorney to Italy. I admit that I needed a few days to find again my creative power. But there´s a big to do list with birthday and wedding cards, so that I had to start crafting today.
This is a birthday card for a nine years old boy with this cute Chrisbear image, which I´ve coloured with Polychromos by Faber and odourless white spirit. I carried out the colour challenge by Tip Top Tuesday. I´ve stamped the green paper by Basic Grey above with dots (by Prima) and below with several spots and circles (by See d´s). This stamp set is one of my neglected stash. I haven´t use it for 3 years I mean. :-)
My tip for Top Tip Tuesday: If I use die cut swirls I prefer to trim and prune them. Most of the time the original length doesn´t fit behind the paper flowers or the images. This way I can better arrange and variegate.

Ein guter Freund meiner Tochter hat demnächst Geburtstag. Da er den "grünen Daumen" hat und Pflanzen-verrückt ist :-) , habe ich das Motiv entsprechend ausgewählt.

Für meine Nichte zum 11. Geburtstag.
Das Motiv ist von Hero Arts, die gestempelten Bordüren von Viva Decor, der Text von Stampin´Up, das grüne Papier von Basic Grey. Nach dem Stempeln des Motivs habe ich es noch heiß geprägt und danach das Papier mit Distress ink und Glimmermist rosa gefärbt. Ebenso die Blüten.
For my niece, she´s turning to 11.
The image by Hero Arts was stamped and heat embossed. After this I´ve coloured the paper with Distress ink and Glimmermist. Just as the blossoms. The green paper is from Basic Grey, the border stamp from Viva Decor, the sentiment from Stampin´Up.

Ich hatte mich verzählt! Glücklicherweise habe ich es heute noch rechtzeitig bemerkt, dass ich 9 statt 8 Dankeschönkarten brauche, sodass ich noch eine stempeln konnte. Und in dieser Technik geht´s ja ruckizucki. (Siehe 2 Posts darunter.)

I´ve miscounted the numbers of thank you cards that I need tomorrow! Fortunately I noticed just in time that I need 9 instead of 8 cards! And this technique works quite quickly. (See 2 posts below.)

Um bei "Less is more" einzusteigen, darf man sich nur auf 5 Challenges beschränken. Daher stelle ich die blaue Karte hier noch mal separat ein. Die Erläuterungen dazu stehen im Post darunter. Ihr braucht sie also nicht noch einmal zu kommentieren ... :-)

Dankeschönkarten / Thank you cards

Ich brauchte ein paar Dankeschönkarten und habe demzufolge die schnelle Variante gewählt.
Das Quadrat ist mittels eines Acrylblocks entstanden (Farbe drauf, mit Wasser eingesprüht und abgedrückt), ergibt einen schönen Aquarelleffekt. Danach wurde die lateinische Schrift (LaBlanche) und die Blüten gestempelt (Motiv 1. Karte: Aspire von Penny Black, alle anderen von LaBlanche ).

I needed a few thank you cards and have decided to create the fast version. I put some ink on to an acrylic block, spritzed a little bit of water on it and stamped it on white cardstock. It has revealed a beautiful watercolour effect. After it I´ve stamped the latin script (by LaBlanche) and the flowers (by Penny Black and LaBlanche).

Karte zur Hochzeit / Card for a Wedding

Die Verwandtschaft vergrößert sich, es wird geheiratet!
Für diese Karte habe ich weißes Papier, die Blüten und die Spitze mit Glimmermist gefärbt. Für das Lilien-Motiv von Impression Obsession sowie zum Wischen der Ränder habe ich ein Encore Metallic-Stempelkissen in Grün verwendet. Der Text ist digital erstellt.

The relationship is happy because their numbers are increasing. There´s a wedding!
For this card I´ve coloured white paper, the flowers and the lace with Glimmermist. I´ve used an Encore Metallic inkpad to stamp the lily image by Impression Obsession and to sponge the edges. The text was made digital.

Vintage Geburtstagskarte / Vintage birthday card

Für meine Schwägerin zum Geburtstag.
Das Papier ist von Basic Grey.
Das Hauptmotiv von LaBlanche habe ich in der Resisttechnik gestaltet. Diese spezielle Form heißt Pattern Embossing und wurde mal bei Stamp TV vorgestellt. Das darunter liegende Schrift-Muster ist von Hero Arts.
Die Ränder habe ich alle gewischt, abgerubbelt und dazu falsche Nähte gestochen und gezeichnet.
Auch die Blüten und die Spitze habe ich mit Distress etwas altern lassen. Ich liebe diesen Schmuddel-Grunge-Look! :-)

This card is for my sister in law.
The paper is from Basic Grey.
I´ve used the ´Pattern Embossing´ technique for creating the flower image (by LaBlanche). This technique was introduced at Stamp TV some time ago . The script image underneath is from Hero Arts.
I´ve sponged and distressed all the edges and used the faux stitching technique too. I gave some patina to the flowers and lace with Distress ink. I just love this grunge look.

Geburtstagskarte / Birthday card

Ein Kärtchen für die Vorratskiste in einer meiner Lieblingsfarbkombis. Die Motive sind aus einem Set von Viva Decor.
Der Hintergrund der unteren Lage ist mit einer lateinischen Schrift mit Versamark bestempelt und komplett gewischt mit Distress Ink Tattered Rose. Darauf kamen dann die Viva Decor - Motive mit Archival Ink Coffee. Die Schmetterlinge habe ich noch einmal separat gestempelt, ausgeschnitten und mit 3D-Pads aufgesetzt.

I´ve stamped the latin script with Versamark onto the undermost layer and sponged the paper with Distress Ink Tattered Rose. Then I´ve stamped the brown images by Viva Decor with Archival Ink Coffee.

Männerkarte / Male Card

Eine Karte für die Vorratskiste. Das Motiv von Stampingback scheint wie geschaffen für eine nostalgisch angehauchte Männerkarte. Ich habe es mit Archival ink gestempelt und klar embosst. Danach habe ich den Hintergrund noch mit dem Impression Obsession- Motiv "Scratches" und Distress Ink Old Paper versehen. Die Ränder sind gewischt mit Distress Ink Old Paper und Vintage Photo.
Der Glückwunsch ist von Stampin´Up, das Designerpapier von Rayher.

This is a card for the stock. I´ve used my newest stamp here. The image by Stampingback seems to be predestinated for a nostalgic male card. I´ve stmaped it with Archival ink coffee and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I´ve decorated the background with the Impression Obsession image ´Scratches´ und Distress Ink Old Paper. I´ve sponged the edges with Distress Ink Old Paper and Vintage Photo.
The sentiment is from Stampin´Up, the paper from Rayher.
