Hier eine recht simpel gestaltete Karte in Anlehnung an den "Clean & Simple"-Stil.
Noten-Stempel von LaBlanche, Weihnachtsanhänger von SU.
Stempelfarbe: Distress Ink Old Paper, Distress Ink Vintage Photo, Versamark, weiterhin Embossingpulver

This is just a simple card.
The music notes stamp is from LaBlanche, the Christmas Ornaments are from SU.

Cards for men feiert zweijähriges Bestehen und nimmt sich der Zahl Zwei auch thematisch an. Ich habe also zwei ähnliche Karten kreiert. Das Papier ist von cart-us aus der Christmas Collection. Die Stanzformen für die Schneeflocken sind von Marianne Design. Den Text von LaBlanche hab ich mit Versamark gestempelt und weiß embosst.
Cards for men is celebrating the 2nd anniversary. Happy Birthday! That´s why their theme this week is number two. I´ve created two similar cards. The paper is from cart-us from their Christmas Collection. The shapes for the snowflakes are from Marianne Design. I´ve stamped the sentiment by LaBlanche withVersamark and heat embossed it white.
But there´s some more fabulous challenges this week.

Geburtstagskarte / Birthday card

Diese Karte ist für meine Nichte zum Geburtstag. Der Hintergrund ist gestempelt mit einem Impression Obsession Motiv mit Versafine Spanish Moss. Das Rosenmotiv von LaBlanche habe ich mit Archival Ink Coffee gestempelt. Der Text ist digital.

Karte zum 60. Geburtstag / Card for the 60th birthday

Dies ist eine Auftragsarbeit. der Herr, der seinen 60. Geburtstag feiert, bekommt eine Reise geschenkt, die zwei Tage später startet. Das Ziel wird auch erst am Abend der Fete bekanntgegeben. Das Thema sollte also auf der Karte aufgegriffen werden.
Der Hintergrundstempel ist von Impression Obsession. Da ich leider keine Flugzeugstempel habe, habe ich Sticker auf Acetat geklebt und mit Gluepads dreidimensional aufgebracht. Innen ist das Motiv nochmal in einem sehr hellen Ton gestempelt.

This is a commissiones work for a man who´s turning to 60. His wife will surprise him with a journey.
The principal of this card has wished that I pick up this theme.
I´ve used the huge background stamp by Impression Obsession. Because I don´t have any airplane stamp I´ve used stickers and sticked them onto acetat and then added them with gluepads on the card.
I´ve stamped the image on the inside too but with a lighter colour.
That´s a beautiful Vintage stamp, that´s why I think the card fits to the ´It´s all about the Vintage Challenge´ too. Anyway ... I try it.

Karte zum 70. Geburtstag / Card for the 70th birthday


Für eine Bekannte zum 70. Geburtstag.
Das Motiv von Inkadinkado habe ich mit Archival Ink Coffee gestempelt und klar heißgeprägt. Ebenso den Text (Stampin´Up) und die Ziffern (Inkadinkado), die ich ausgeschnitten und separat aufgesetzt habe.
Das Papier ist von DCWV, die große Stanzform von Spellbinders, die zum Text gehörigen Stanzer sind von SU.
Da die Karte nur in Brauntönen gestaltet ist, passt sie hervorragend zur Creative Card Crew - Herausforderung.

This card is for a friend who´s turning to 70.
I´ve stamped the image by Inkadinkado with Archival Ink Coffee and heat embossed it. Same way with the sentiment (Stampin´Up) and the numbers (Inkadinkado) that I´ve cut out.
I´ve used paper by DCWV, the big shape by Spellbinders and the smaller punches from SU.
Cause I only used shades of brown from light to dark I think this cards fits perfectly to the monochromatic challenge on the Creative Card Crew Blog.

Zum Ruhestand / Retirement

Eine Auftragsarbeit: Es wird eine Karte zum Eintritt in den Ruhestand gewünscht. Der Herr wird sich als Erstes ein Fahrrad kaufen. Da passte das Motiv von Crafty Individuals doch perfekt! Gestempelt mit Archival Ink Coffee und klar embosst. Der Textstempel ist von LaBlanche, das Papier von g.c.d.Studios.
This is a commissioned work: It is desired a card for one of my husbands colleagues who will retire. At first this man wants to buy a bycicle. So this image by Crafty Individuals fits perfectly for this occasion.
I have stamped it with Archival Ink Coffee and then heat embossed it. The sentiment is from LaBlanche and the paper from g.c.d.Studios.
My tip for Top Tip Tuesday: To get this coloured effect at the sentiment die cut I keep the paper inside the shape and sponged it over the whole frame and paper. This way the edge keeps clear and looks like a real frame.


Innen sind 2 Seiten mehr als üblich mit einem Gedicht für den Herrn, das ich aus vorgegebenen Stichpunkten gereimt und mit dem Glückwunsch ausgedruckt habe. So ist das ganze "Kärtchen" nur noch zu unterschreiben und ist übergabebereit. Das is´n Service, was? ;-)

There are 2 pages more inside with a poem I wrote for him. They gave me some catchwords and I made some rhymes. I printed it out inclusive the congratulation. That´s a service, isn´t it?

Karte zum 30. Geburtstag / Card for the 30th birthday


Dies ist eine Auftragskarte für einen Herrn zum 30. Geburtstag.
Der Text ist digital, die Stanzformen vom Text und den Blüten sind Alterations Dies von Sizzix/Tim Holtz, die Schnörkelstanze ist von Bosskut. Die Metallteile sind in Altmessing gehalten, sowohl die Ecken, wie auch die Brads und Eyeletts. Das schöne Papier ist von DCWV. Zum Thema Recycling hab ich alte Paketschnur verwendet.

This is a commissioned work for a man who´s turning to 30.
The sentiment was digitally made. The dies for the text and the flowers are Alterations Dies by Sizzix/Tim Holtz, the swirls die is from Bosskut. All the charms are made of brass. This beautiful paper is from DCWV. I´ve recycled this old piece of string.

Trauerkarte / Sympathy card



Eine Trauerkarte für die Vorratskiste. Ich hoffe, sie bleibt dort sehr lange liegen!
Hintergrundschrift und Blättermotiv von Hero Arts, Spruch von LaBlanche.
Blätter und Spruch schwarz embosst. Hintergrundschrift mit Versamark gestempelt und mit Perfect Pearls beglittert/bepudert. Der Spruch ist mit 3D-Pads aufgesetzt.
This is a sympathy card just for my stock. I hope it stays there for a long time!
The background script and the leaves are from Hero Arts, the sentiment is from LaBlanche,
Sentiment and leaves were heat embossed with black embossing powder. The background script was stamped with Versamark and then I´ve added some Perfect Pearls for a nice shimmering.

Karte für einen Jungen / Card for a boy


Noch ein Kindergeburtstag diese Woche!
Der kleine (große) Mann ist in der Kinderfeuerwehr tätig, daher die Motiv- und Farbwahl. Das Papier ist von core´dinations.
Das Blau der Blume ist übrigens dem des Papiers gleich ... ;-) böse Falle Fotografie!

Another child´s birthday this week.
This boy is a keen junior fire fighter. Therefore my choice of the image and the colours (these are the true colours of the german fire brigades). The paper is from core´dinations. This is my newest stuff.
By the way ... the blue colour of the flower is actually the same as the paper´s colour. Bad lighting during the snapping.

Männerkarte / Male Card


Obwohl mir der Sketch von Nightshift Stamping sehr gefallen hat, ich aber befürchtet hatte, die vielen Streifen rechts führen zu einem allzu bunten Chaos, hatte ich ihn erst mal auf Eis gelegt. Hier hat mich das Blog-Hopping erst auf die zündende Idee "monochrom" gebracht. Habe von unserer Queen of Braun :-) Heidi "abgekupfert" und auch ihre Papiere verwendet. (Die hatte ich mal bei ihr gewonnen.)
Das Motiv (Inkadinkado), den Text und die gestanzten Ecken habe ich kupfern embosst.

I´ve used these beautiful monochromatic papers and the idea from our lovely Heidi. She´s the one and only queen of brown! :-) I´ve won these papers from her a while ago. I´ve heat embossed the image (Inkadinkado), the sentiment and the punched corners with copper embossing powder.

Karte für einen Jungen / Card for a boy

Das ist eine Karte für einen Jungen, der nächste Woche 9 wird.
Das Motiv ist von Lelo Design, coloriert mit Polychromos. Ich habe es dreifach gestempelt und dreidimensional übereinander gesetzt. Das Papier von core´dinations habe ich mit einem Cuttlebugfolder geprägt.

Von Michelle

Mädels, ich habe Nachwuchs aquiriert! Als ich Anfang 2008 der Stempelei verfallen war, war mein Töchterlein 16, mitten in der Pubertät und hätte sicher KEINEN Stempel angerührt! Dafür ist jetzt meine Nichte Michelle offensichtlich infiziert! :-) Sie hatte mal einen Auftrag, für die Schule eine Karte zu basteln. Das hat genügt, um Blut zu lecken. Jetzt war sie wieder da und hat stundenlang gearbeitet! :-) Sie ist schon 11 und kann im Gegensatz zu meinen kleinen Mäusen aus der Grundschule sehr sauber arbeiten, sieht alles akkurat aus. Ihre Wunschliste für Weihnachten enthält natürlich die komplette Grundausrüstung. :D
Hier hat sie eine Karte für ihre Freundin zum Geburtstag gestempelt (Motiv von Hero Arts, Text von SU, Papier von DCWV) in ihrer Lieblingsfarbe Lila.

I have canvassed a new junior stamper: my niece Michelle (aged 11). She´s very excited and worked here in my craft room for hours! :-)
This is a birthday card for her girl friend (image by Hero Arts, text by SU, paper by DCWV) with her favourite colour purple/lavender.

Männerkarte / Male Card



Ein Bekannter wird 60. Das ist meine Karte für ihn.
Das Papier ist von g.c.d.studios und das alte Vehikel ist ein Motiv von Stampabilities mit dem Namen "Vintage car". Ich hab es zweimal gestempelt und mit 3D-Pads aufgesetzt.
Ich fand den Spruch sehr passend. Leider denke ich jetzt im Nachhinein, der ist zu dominant. Naja. Nicht mehr zu ändern, jetzt ist es fertig.
A friend is turning to 60 this week. This is my card for him.
The paper is from g.c.d.studios and the ´Vintage car´ is from Stampabilities. I´ve stamped it twice and added one part with dimensionals.
I thought the sentiment is suitable for this image (´You´re a classic´). But now I mean it´s too dominant. Well. Now it´s finished. That can´t be helped.

Karte zum 70. Geburtstag / Card for the 70th birthday


Diese Karte ist bei einer ehemaligen Kollegin im Briefkasten gelandet. Sie hatte selber auch Kunst- und Werkenunterricht, sodass sie die Arbeit schon zu schätzen wissen wird.
Nach der Vorlage von Sketch Saturday. Ich hatte die Rose von Inkadinkado schon wieder im Blickfeld ... :-) und sie gleich nochmal eingesetzt. Wieder mit Archival braun gestempelt und klar embosst. Das Papier ist von Stampin´Up, außerdem klemmen dort ein paar alte Buchseitenstreifen. Der Zahlenstempel ist auch von Inkadinkado.

This card is for a nice former colleague. She was a teacher for art and craftwork (sorry - I don´t know the right term in English) in our primary school too at that time , that´s why I think she will appreciate it.
I´ve used the sketch by Sketch Saturday. ´Cause I love the rose image by Inkadinkado I used it once again. I´ve stamped it with Archival ink and then heat embossed it with clear powder. The paper is from SU. In the background are pieces from an old book page too. The number stamps are from Inkadinkado too.

Gute Besserung / Get well soon


Die Inkadinkado-Rose wurde mit Archival braun gestempelt und klar embosst. Zusätzlich habe ich sie noch ein wenig mit Perfect Pearls coloriert. Das Papier ist von Stampin´Up.

Karte zum 70. Geburtstag / Card for the 70th birthday


Eine Auftragsarbeit für einen 70. Geburtstag. Dieser Text war so erwünscht. Die Karte sollte sehr festlich sein. HG mit Glimmermist eingesprüht und mit einem Motiv von Impression Obsession bestempelt.
Die Stanzformen sind von Marianne Design.

Karte zur Hochzeit / Card for a Wedding


Eine Auftragsarbeit. Die Karte sollte sehr groß sein, damit ein ganzer Freundeskreis unterschreiben kann. Also ist sie A 5 geworden.
HG mit Glimmermist eingesprüht und mit Motiven von VivaDecor bestempelt. Das glitzert wunderschön, ist leider schlecht zu sehen.
Die Tauben sind aus dem selben Set, gestempelt, ausgeschnitten, mit Gluepads aufgesetzt.
Die Schnörkel sind von Marianne Design, das ovale Teil ist von Tim Holtz.

This is a commissioned work. The card should be very big because all the friends want to sign. So I decided to create an A 5 size.
I´ve glimmermisted the background and stamped images by VivaDecor. It´s a great glitter, unfortunately it isn´t good to see. The doves are from VivaDecor too, were stamped, cut out and added with gluepads. The swirl dies are from Marianne Design, the oval shape is from Tim Holtz.
