Zum 70. Geburtstag / For a 70th birthday

Das ist eine Karte für eine Dame zum 70. Geburtstag. Der Text ist ausgedruckt. Die Hutnadel und die Blüten hab ich selbst gemacht. Die Blüten sind mit Glitzersteinchenbrads befestigt. Hinter dem Designerpapier ist Spiegelkarton, hab ihn auch für die gestanzte Schnörkelform genommen.
This is a card for a lady´s 70th birthday. The sentiment was printed out with the computer and the flowers and the hatpin are handmade. I fixed the flowers with rhinestone brads. I used mirror paper (how do you say it in english?) behind the patterned paper and for the ornate die-cut too.

Resteverwertung. Ich hatte eine Restmenge dieses grünen Papiers aus den Anfangszeiten meiner Bastelei hier liegen. Ich finde, für Männerkarten passt das ganz gut. Hab es etwas aufgehübscht mit dem Hintergrundstempel von Impression Obsession und goldenem Embossingpulver. Bei den 2 unteren ist noch Platz für den Text.
Making use of leftovers. I had a residual amount of this green paper from the beginning times of my crafting. Now it´s used up. *mwahahaha* I actually dont like this green tone. I prettied up it with this background stamp and golden embossing powder. There´s some space on the upper two cards for the sentiment.

Im Hintergrund habe ich Specialty Stamping Paper mit Glimmermist eingesprüht und dann als Collage mit verschiedenen Motiven bestempelt. Die blödeste Idee war, den Glückwunsch mit kleinen Stanzbuchstaben zu gestalten, das hat ewig gedauert. Hätte man ja auch ausdrucken können ...

Hallo, Mädels, ich habe hier eine Karte für einen jungen Herrn. Den Text hab ich mit Versamark gestempelt und braun embosst. Der Rest ist gestanzt.
Hi there, this is a birthday card for a young man. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed it brown. It´s actually one of my favourite techniques to use embossingpowder. The other details on the card were punched and die-cut.

Unser befreundeter Nachbar hat Geburtstag und bekommt dieses Kärtchen. Das Motiv ist - wie bei der vorigen Karte - gestempelt und klar embosst. Danach hab ich es noch mit Distressfarben und Wassertankpinsel "aquarellig" coloriert. Die gestanzten Buchstaben hab ich auch einzeln mit Schwämmchen "gebräunt".
Hi everyone! This is a card for our neighbour. I used a sketch for the layout. I stamped the image brown and then clear embossed it - like my last card in the post below. After this I coloured it with Distress inks and a water brush. All die-cut letters were sponged.
My absolute favourite style is Vintage. I love it to use cards in this old style. I arranged my whole flat like this. :-)

Hallo, ihr Lieben! Ich hab hier mal eine Karte für die Vorratskiste. Habe mich nach einer Sketchvorgabe gerichtet. Das Motiv ist gestempelt und klar embosst, ich finde immer, das wirkt dann viel intensiver. Danach hab ich es noch mit Distressfarben und Wassertankpinsel "aquarellig" coloriert. Das cremefarbene Papier ist geprägt.
Hi everyone! Here´s a card for my stash. I used a sketch for the layout. I stamped the image brown and then clear embossed it. In my opinion it appears much more intensive. After this I coloured it with Distress inks and a water brush. The cream paper was dry embosssed.

Romantische Geburtstagskarte / Romantic birthday card

Hallo, ihr Kartenverrückten, schönen Sonntag allerseits! Dieses Werk war eine Auftragsarbeit zum 40. Geburtstag einer Frau. Das Papier hat einen festlich silbern schimmernden Textaufdruck, kann man leider nicht sehen. Die Nestabilities-Formen sind gestempelt, silbern embosst und ausgestanzt. Die Buchstaben und Ziffern sind aus dem grau-silbernen Designerpapier und der Schriftzug aus dem hellen Cardstock ausgestanzt worden, war aber leider zu unauffällig, sodass ich sie noch mit 2 Lagen silbernem Embossingpulver geprägt habe. Mein Gott, was für eine Fummelei ... Die Blüte ist selbstgemacht, dahinter sind Federn und drei silbern eingefärbte Skelettblätter.
Hi crafters, I wish you a wonderful sunday! This card is a commissioned work for a woman´s 40th birthday. I chose a Designerpaper with a nice silver shimmery script print. I stamped and silver embossed the labels. Then I die-cut the numbers, letters and the sentiment and overlaid it with two layers of silver embossingpowder.  This shabby chic is my favourite style, because I love these soft colours and the romantic touch. The blossom is handmade out of Organza. I bought a few years ago a heap of those fabric, because I love to use it as gift wrap for my presents. And so I use the leftovers for those kind of flowers. Behind it are two feathers and three silver covered skeleton leaves.

Dieser traurige Anlass kommt leider immer unverhofft und so ist es gut, wenn ich davon auch wieder ein paar Karten auf Lager habe. Hier ist also noch ein Werk. Ging ja relativ schnell, ist im C&S-Stil gestaltet. Im HG sind graue Noten gestempelt. Rose und Text sind schwarz embosst.
This sad occasions always come unexpectedly and that´s why it´s good to have some sympathy cards in the stash. I stamped a musical image in the background. The rose and sentiment were heat embossed with black powder.

Hallo, ihr Lieben, es ist immer ein schlimmer Gang, wenn man zu einer Beerdigung gehen muss. Mich selbst betraf es nicht, aber ich hatte eine Anfrage, ob ich Trauerkarten vorrätig habe. Ich habe also kurzerhand mal ein paar zur Auswahl angefertigt. Motiv und Text auf dieser Karte habe ich mit Versafine gestempelt und klar embosst. Der HG ist geprägt.
It´s always an onerous way to attend a funeral. Therefor I made a few cards for my stash. I stamped the image and sentiment with Versafine and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. The black paperwas dry-embossed.

Noch eine Karte für eine Stempelfreundin ist unterwegs. Ich decke mal so lange den Namen ab, bis der große Tag da ist. Der braune HG ist geprägt und mit Frantage-Pulver und -Mica bestreut. Motiv und Text sind mit Archival gestempelt - das könnte eins meiner neuen Lieblingsmotive werden!

I stamped the image and sentiment with Archival - this could become one of my favourite images. This shabby chic is my favourite style, because I love all Vintage things. The brown background was dry-embossed and embellished with Frantage powder and mica.The flower was handmade from Organza. Ein Kärtchen hat sich auf die Reise gemacht und soll Freude bringen. Der weiße HG ist geprägt und großzügig mit 2 verschiedenen Frantagepulvern bestreut. Das Motiv ist in der Embossingresisttechnik gestaltet, ebenso wie der ovale Text. Die Blüte habe ich aus derselben Spitze gemacht, wie sie rechts unter dem Motiv rausschaut.
I created this card as a surprise for a dear stamping friend. I hope she will like it. This shabby chic is my favourite style, because I love all Vintage things. I dry-embossed the white background and embellished it with two colours of Frantage embossing powders. The image was made by using the embossing resist technique. I used the right corner under the image as well as for the flower.

Den Hintergrund habe ich in der Embossing-Resist-Technik gestaltet (Text klar gestempelt und embosst, dann Papier mit Glimmermist eingefärbt), darüber dann den Blumenabdruck mit Archival Ink gestempelt. Karten mit 3 D-Motiv / Cards with decoupage images

Hier möchte ich euch eine Karte zeigen, die ich für eine befreundete Nachbarin gemacht habe. Sie liebt Sonnenblumen über alles. Mist, wenn dann ihr Geburtstag mitten im Winter liegt. Also bekommt sie wenigstens immer eine Sonnenblumenkarte von mir. Meine Sonnenblumenstempel hab ich schon für sie verarbeitet, also griff ich mal wieder in meinen  3D-Vorrat.  This is a birthday card for my neighbour who loves sunflowers. But where to buy sunflowers in the dead of winter? So I create a card with sunflowers for her every year. The paper and the sentiment were embossed (dry and heat).

Und diese bestellte Karte sollte für einen Herrn sein, der selbst gern malt. Also hab ich mangels Auswahl auf ein 3D-"Gemälde"-Motiv zurückgegegriffen.  This card is for a man who loves to paint. That´s why I chose this image with a painting.

Des Weiteren bat mich meine Mutter darum, ihren Kartenvorrat aufzufüllen. Und jetzt, da ich sowieso noch nicht laufen kann, kommt mir das gerade recht. Immer im Kampf gegen die Berge von 3D-Motiven, die ich noch besitze. Aber die ersten fünf in Braun und Grau wollte sie dann doch nicht haben, obwohl das noch die einzigen waren, die ich selbst nicht ganz so schrecklich fand. *hahaha* Bin ja auch kein Fan mehr von 3D-Motiven. ;-)  Furthermore my mother asked to fill up her stock of cards. She loves cards with decoupage images and lots of stickers. So I created a bunch of cards and could reduce my abundance of those kind of images.

Geburtstagskarte Shabby Chic / Birthday Card Shabby Chic

Hallo und einen guten Start ins Wochenende euch allen! Heut gibt´s eine Geburtstagskarte, die sich morgen auf den Weg macht. Zum Embossen hab ich dieses Frantage-Pulver verwendet. Interessante Effekte. Die selbstgemachte Blüte mit den Messingmetallteilchen sind aber doch ziemlich dominant. Vielleicht hätte man auf das Gräsermotiv verzichten sollen ... ?

Karte für einen runden Geburtstag / Milestone birthday card

Ich zeig euch hier mal eine Auftragskarte zum 50. Geburtstag einer Frau. Ich sollte ein Foto mit ihr aus Kindertagen verarbeiten. Der Haken an der Sache, mir blieb nicht anderes übrig, als dieses Rot mit aufzugreifen (Spiegelkarton und Blüten). Und eigentlich gehört die Auftraggeberin zur Sticker-Fangemeinde. :-D  Ich hoffe, sie war jetzt nicht allzu schwer enttäuscht, dass ich darauf verzichtet habe. *grins*
