Ein kleiner Theodor ist geboren! Wir freuen uns alle! Für den kleinen Mann gibt es natürlich eine Überraschung und dieses Kärtchen. Gestempelt sind nur die Buchstaben und der Text unten. Alle anderen Teile sind ausgestanzt.

Hallo, ihr Lieben! Hier schon mal ein Weihnachtskärtchen. Mein erstes Werk übrigens in der Triple-Stamping-Technik. Ich habe etwas Glitzerstickles als Blickfang aufgetupft.
Leider eine katastrophale Aufnahme, das ist nur per Handy geknipst. Tut mir leid, Mädels!

Eine Karte für eine sehr liebe ehemalige Kollegin. Der große Hintergund  ist gestempelt, der kleinere geprägt. Den Text habe ich ausgedruckt. Das Papier ist eigentlich zartrosa, die Farben sind hier alle total verfälscht. Aber ich habe nur mit dem Handy geknipst, mein Fotoapparat liegt noch in Griechenland und hat jetzt vermutlich einen neuen Besitzer ... *schluchz* ... 

This card is for a dear former colleague. The large background was stamped, the smaller one was embossed. I printed the sentiment from my computer.

The paper is actually light pink. All the colours have falsified. I just took my smartphone for photographing. My camera is still in Greece and probably it has a new owner ... :-(

Eine Geburtstagskarte für den Nachbarn. Der ältere Herr ist ein begeisterter Bastler, von Holz bis Metall ist nichts vor ihm sicher. Daher die Wahl des Holz-Designerpapiers und des kleinen Werkzeugs. Die Ziffern aus pappe hatte ich mit dem gleichen kupferfarbenen Papier beklebt wie im Hintergrund der Karte benutzt.
Und was mich besonders freut: Er bewahrt alle meine Karten in seinem Hobbyraum auf! :-)
This is a birthday card for our neighbour. The elderly gentleman is an enthusiastic crafter. That´s why I chose the wooden Designer paper and the metall embellishments. I used the same copper paper from the background as for the numbers.

Karte für einen Angler / Card for an angler

Unschwer zu erkennen: eine Karte für einen Angler. Den Hintergrund habe ich mit Distressfarben coloriert und gewischt. Sieht aus, als hätte das Motiv weiter links sitzen müssen, aber dann hätte der Text gestört. Hab alles -zigmal hin- und hergeschoben. Naja, letztendlich habe ich es so gelassen ...  Aber ich zeig euch die Karte trotzdem.

This is a card for an angler. I coloured the image and sponged the background paper with Distress inks. I had a little trouble with positioning the image and the sentiment. But finally I decided this way. But nevertheless I´ll show you the card.

Gestanzte Karte / Punched card

So, habe nach der Rückkehr erstmal die Heizung aufgedreht und die Kartenproduktion wieder angefangen. :-)
Hier ein relativ simpel gestaltetes Werk. Die Teile sind einfach nur ausgestanzt, also letztendlich kein großes "Kunstwerk", aber trotzdem dekorativ, wie ich finde. Auf diese Art lässt sich mal das auffällig gemusterte Papier verarbeiten. Dort passt ja immer nicht so recht noch ein Stempelmotiv dazu.
Die Karte ist für die Schwiegermutter. Sie hatte mich mal gefragt, ob sie meine Karten wegwerfen soll oder ich sie zurückhaben möchte, um Einzelteile wieder zu verwenden. Diese hier kann ich dann gut noch mal benutzen, ich brauch bloß den Text ändern. ;-)
(Ja, ja, da bleibt einem nur Sarkasmus ...)

Well, after my return I turned on the heating and boosted my crafting production. :-)
This is just a simply made work. I just had to punch out all details. So it´s not an artwork but still decorative. It´s a good way to use the paper with big patterns. In my opinion it´s unfavourable to match a stamped image to this.
This card is for my mother in law. One day she asked me wether she shall dump my cards or if I want it back to reuse. So I can simply reuse this one. I just have to change the sentiment. ;-)
(Nothing else remains but sarcasm ...)

Wieder zurück / I´m back

Hallo, ihr Lieben! Melde mich aus südlichen Gefilden zurück. Ich zeige euch mal zwei Fotos, die beide am 27. Oktober geknipst wurden. Das erste auf Rhodos, das zweite von meinem Bruder bei uns zu Hause. Er hatte mir noch gesimst, ich solle eine Verlängerungswoche buchen ... ;-)
I´m back from southern domains. I´m going to show you two pictures. Both made at the same day: 27th of october. The first one was photographed by me at Rhodes Island in Greece. The second image was snapped by my brother at home in front of our house. He text-messaged me that I should better book an extension of the holiday... ;-)

Musikalische Geburtstagskarte / Musical birthday card

Das ist eine Geburtstagskarte für einen kleinen Musiker zum 10. Geburtstag. Er ist schon ziemlich "cool" für sein Alter, ich musste auf jeden Fall alles Kitschige oder Niedliche vermeiden! Alle Motive sind kupfern heißgeprägt und mit weißem Gelstift akzentuiert. Das Hauptmotiv und der Text sind noch in der Stanzform gewischt worden. Und es hat ihm gefallen ... Uff!
This is a birthday card for a little musician who´s turning to 10. He´s quite cool for his age. That´s why I had to avoid all cute images. And he liked the card ... Phew! I embossed all images with copper powder and accentuated it with a white gel pen. I sponged the main image and the sentiment inside the die.

Hier habe ich mal eine kleine herbstliche Geburtstagskarte gestaltet. Dieses Stempelset schmorte bestimmt schon 2 Jahre in der Schublade. Den Baum habe ich nach dem Stempeln noch klar embosst. Überall auf der Karte sitzen ein paar kleine Stickles-Tupfen, sieht man nur schlecht.
This time I created a little autumn themed birthday card. This stamp set was waiting at least 2 years for the next application in the tray. After stamping I heat embossed the tree with clear embossing powder. There are small Stickles spots all around.

Geburtstagskarte für meine Tante / Birthday card for my aunt

Hallo, ihr Guten,
ich hoffe, ihr hattet einen guten Start in die Woche. Ich habe soeben - einfach nur um abzuschalten - das Kärtchen fertig gestellt. In Kürze hat meine Tante Geburtstag. Ich habe das Motiv gestempelt und den Text ausgedruckt, beides noch im Spellbinders-Rahmen gewischt und dann mit 2 Schichten UTEE auf Hochglanz gebracht.
Ich habe mich vom Sketch von Take Time for You inspirieren lassen, aber das Textfeld etwas verkleinert. :-)

Herbstliche Geburtstagskarte / Autumn birthday card

Hallo, ihr Hübschen,
ich habe gerade ein herbstlich angehauchtes Kärtchen fertig gebracht. Nicht gerade Indian Summer, aber doch etwas farbenfroher als sonst. Coloriert habe ich mit verschiedenen Distressfarben und Wassertankpinsel. Ich hatte 3 verschiedene Braunpapiere verwendet (das war vor einer Weile mal ein Preis, den ich von Heidi hatte). Auf der mittleren Lage stören mich nun leider die dort aufgedruckten Blätter unter meinen gestempelten. Ich dachte erst, es wäre ein schöner Effekt, aber so kann man sich irren ... :-)

I just finished this autumn card. It´s not exactly indian summer but a little bit more colourful as usually. I coloured with several Distress inks and watercolor brush. I used 3 different brown designer papers that I won some time ago. But I see now there are printed leaves at the second layer that unfortunately interefer with my stamped leaves. At first I thought it could be a nice effect. Just goes to show you never know... :-)

Ich habe heute dieses Kärtchen auf die Reise geschickt und hoffe, es kommt heil an. Lieben Gruß an das Geburtstagskind Anke!
Das ist eigentlich der Stil, der mir persönlich am meisten liegt und gefällt. Das hat richtig Spaß gemacht! Es ist alles gestempelt, gewischt, distresst (gibt´s dafür eigentlich ein deutsches Wort?).
Passend dazu gab´s eine kleine Verpackung, zurechtgeschnitten auf das Geschenk.

Hochzeitskarten / Wedding cards

Schönen Freitagabend allerseits, ich grüße euch alle!
Ich musste ein Hochzeitskärtchen zaubern, dass zwecks Auslandsreise recht flach gehalten werden, andererseits aber doch ein bisschen festlich sein sollte. (Seltsamerweise ist die Schweiz das einzige Land weltweit für uns mit höheren Portokosten, meinte die Post-Fee.) Also habe ich als Verzierung nur dieses schöne Metall"ding" (von Korthobby.no) genommen. Finde ich sehr dekorativ.
Das zweite Kärtchen war dann Resteverarbeitung. Ich hatte das rosa Papier für die 1. Version schon zurechtgeschnitten, hatte mich dann doch umentschieden ... Ein 3D-Motiv drauf, Grußstempel, fertig.

I had to create a flat wedding card because I´m going to send it to Switzerland. And we have to pay more postage there. I decided to use this nice metall embellishment (by Korthobby.no). That´s quite decorative.
The second card is just exploitation of scrap. I cutted the pink paper for the first card and then changed my mind. So I used it for the second one.
